it is a fluid that is automatically released when erection occurs. it is just a drop. but a lot more can be produced if he keeps getting excited, but doesnt have sex.
its purpose is to kill any urine that is still in the urethra and lubricate the penis for sex. it sits at the end of the urethra , so it gets spread to the vagina on penetration.
it also contains some sperm. so a guy can get you pregnant as soon as he has an erection.

Just as females secrete a fluid when they get sexually excited, so does the male. It is semen with a bit of sperm in it. Its purpose is, to a lesser degree lubrication, but mainly it is to clean the urethra of any urine that could kill our tadpoles that will soon follow.

It's a lubricating fluid that comes out the urethra in a guy when they are sexually excited and/or being stimulated, but before they ejaculate. So basically any wetness they make before they squirt.
