my thoughts are Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin
Though I really like Rush, Yes, And Jethro Tull they seem to have amazing songs on their albums along with average songs

Guns and Roses! Their album Appetite for destruction was simply amazing! all their greatest hits convienently on one CD!

I thought Rush's Hold Your Fire album was one of the best albums cause all of the songs were just that amazing, but some people don't think the same way as I do, but then again most albums have all amazing songs from an album in my point of view...

Do you mean *studio production* quality or produced as in overall quality of musical output?

If it's choice 2, that's more subjective. I LOVE Rush & Yes, but even I don't like every album equally.

Led Zep is probably my favorite. But then you have Cream when Eric Clapton was with them. And then there was the Beatles....hmmm, good question!
