I would if she won the Democratic primary, because I wouldn't be caught dead voting for any of the Republicans who are likely to win. (Mike Huckabee can kiss my liberal butt.) But I'm still hoping that Obama gets the nomination. I think he has a much better platform and much less of a chance of being slandered on a rotating basis.
And may I say that feminists have been quite good about avoiding identity politics this year.

Hello,
As I said in another post,
So far no one has impressed me.
I have this thing I do before election. I get on the web and I read. I read and I read. I jot down notes. This is a lot of work, but because of a little accident that left me with a form of amnicia (sp, I do not remember long) I found this is what I have to do.
Then I read my notes and make my decision. I refuse to vote for someone because of what color they are or what sex they are, the one who I feel is best for the job will get my vote.
I am a independent thinker not a democrat nor a republican. I feel being put in a box and blindly voting is against everything I have been brought up to believe. Being a independent thinker is the American way.

I'm not voting for anyone as long as Mike Huckabee or Mitt Romney don't get the Republican nomination. All of the candidates are atrocious (I suppose Ron Paul would least of the evils, but we all know he's not getting any nomination), and that includes Hilary, but I suppose I'd rather live in a socialist state than a theocracy.

I don't think being a feminist necessarily has anything to do with it (though I am one..). Voting for someone just because they are a woman is just as bad as not voting for someone because they are a woman. It places too high of a value on their gender and not on the issues.
I'd rather have Obama - but I'll vote for her if she is nominated.

I have a question.. and i'm not playing or anything. Are feminists voting for hilary clinton purely for the fact she is a woman and not for what she can do?

I'm all for feminism and a women as president but there is no way in Hell i will be voting for Hillary. Obama has my vote! and if he does not get the democratic ticket, then I will be casting a write in vote, probably for Obama.

I'll vote for the candidate whose views most agree with mine. If it's Hillary Clinton, then I'll vote for her. If it's someone else, then I will vote for that other person. I'm not going to vote for a candidate simply because that person is a woman.
