Very true. (and in response to another answer, there is no biological distinction for race - it is a cultural phenomenon. I believe you mean to say there is a variability in humans due to the adaptations toward different environmental challenges)

In some way true, in some way false. Humans vary more when the population level goes bigger like first tribe, then nation, then race, then species.
