I think we should of kept he..
Although Hall is doin well, we could alternate them every once in awhile.

But that's the way hockey is.
We have young guys that are exceptionally good so there just wasn't enough room for him
I still think he has alot of hockey left in him and I'm very happy that he has a new team to go to that respect just how good of a player he is.
It should be interesting to see us play them

I thought the intent of keeping him there was to give some veteran leadership. When a guy reaches his age... I guess he just can't contribute to the team on the score sheet as much as some of the young guys in the organization. I believe he still has some gas in the tank, but the Pens just can't find a spot for him. It's better he go on waivers than be sent down, though. Honestly I figured Jeremy Roenick to be in this position with San Jose sooner than Rex in Pittsburgh.

Montreal Canadiens a million. Patrick Roy (To Colorado, now retired) 2. Mike Cammelleri (Now a Calgary Flame) 3. Mike Ribeiro (To Dallas, now a Capital) 4. Saku Koivu (The captain by maximum of my formative years) 5. Sheldon Souray

I thought it was because they thought he wasn't playing well so they put him on waivers. Don't be too bummed. I miss Drury, Hinote and Forsberg....it is part of the sport. GO AVS!

Given that your moniker is Mrs. Crosby, I am surprised you miss him.

No room for Rex,it was better to release him than sit him or send him down

Was hoping to have him in Nashville, but oh well...

Atleast the rumor was we were gonna nab him if he lasted that long...

Sorry for your loss, but I think you will be fine(Ya know--Crosby, Malkin, ETC..)
