No its not about if its possible to enhance, or a size question. I got into a debat with a friend at work on the subject and told him that the pills were really just something that kept a steady amount of blood to the penis, and when erect, they do provide a little more blood flow, making it a little bigger. I figured this one out on my own, and know that its not a permanent gain.
Then we started talking about the difference between the exercises, and pumps. The theory is relatively the same in both, they both make the spongy tissue able to obtain a higher amount of blood, making the penis bigger. But the exercises are reported to be safe, while the pumps are reported to cause serious side effects and damage.
If the theory behind both are the same relatively, how is it they are so different? Also has anyone ever actually had permanent success with either one? Without the harmful side effects? His theory is that if you exercise using the pump, you will see permanent gains.

By the way I know there is more to what actually makes the exercises and the pump "work" but I was trying to put a description into enough space.

The pump will not give you permanent enhancement, but it can do permanent damage! Unless you are willing to risk being unable to have sex for the rest of your life, leave the pumps alone. The penis is not a muscle, so exercises do not enlarge it, except by giving you an erection, which you can probably get pretty easily anyway.
The pills are worse than useless. A lot of them are made of drywall, which can be contaminated with lead and mercury and even arsenic, which can make you very sick. The only thing these scams enlarge is the bank account of the scammers. There is NOTHING that can safely and permanently enlarge your penis. (Surgery can give you about an inch, but the procedure is expensive and risks leaving you unable to get erections.)
The truth is that WOMEN DO NOT CARE ABOUT SIZE. Unless you want to go through an expensive, painful, and risky operation to impress other guys, just forget about it and learn to enjoy what you've got.

From what I've read the average length of a penis is about 5 1/2 inches long and 6 in around.

more blood will not make you bigger. the penis is a certain size. it might swell, like any other part of the body, but it wont be erect.
penis size is like height. you are what you are.

It sounds like none of the things above are designed to be permanent.
from what ive heard size REALLY doesnt matter.
