I think it all depends on your training as an x-ray technician at an accredited school and how your potential employer feels about the record.
give it a go, though. always good to take a chance.

To work for a hospital you have to pass a background check. One of the questions is "have you ever been convicted of a felony" answer it truthfully to the best of your knowledge. I read that the criminal record is checked but may possibly not disqualify you from a job. Congratulations on trying to become an xray tech that is definitely a move in the right direction.

can a child fall down several times and be helped up. Who are these people who judge other people and not themselves. Our Society is Racist and everything revolves around that Racism. The system is about finding ways to keep certain people down. If you put any person in a hostile environment, 99.99% of the time you will get a negative outburst or response. If you look at today's world you will notice that the new crime rate is done by those without records.Chris Brown:s song " Don;t Judge Me" says it all

I think it depends on the hospital/clinic where you plan to work and the nature of the offense, and how long ago it happened. The hospital that I work at will hire felons, as long as it has nothing to do with a dishonest crime such as robbery, violence, a sexual crime...etc. But say you had a felony DUI, or maybe even a drug charge, they would consider that. It just depends on the policies of the place you plan to work at. Good luck :)
