Why do many feminist zealots downthumb answers they don't like all the time? I have been noticing that feminists do this more than other users do. (I know that they are feminists because I have checked this out very carefully and I know who they are and they know who they are. No names, no pack drill)

[Tera] Elementary deduction, my dear Watson! But seriously, I wouldn't bother about the downthumbers, I don't. It's just a tool for evaluating the effectiveness or otherwise of your questions or answers. Treat them as compliments because that's what they amount to!

[aurum] No, actually I don't often do that. And I find that a little humour goes a long way, after all we are all human being equally deserving of respect.

Why do you even care that some people don't like your opinions? I know a lot of people don't like mine either but I don't let it bother me. You can't please everybody and and you're just going to turn yourself into a total wreck if you do try.

Now you're just making up questions to get attention. Anyone over the age of twelve should be able to figure out that the thumbs up or down choices are there to be used, not just to clutter up the pages. The "zealots" come from both sides of the aisle, equal opportunities for feminist and feminist haters alike.

Because, contrary to what they might say, they only want to hear the sound of their own voices echoed back at them. Notice how any question asked by feminists is considered the most intelligent thing anyone has said since Einstein's theory of relativity. But if a non/anti-feminist or masculist asks a question they somehow "lack critical thinking skills". Their hasn't been a man on here whom the feminist would consider to be "intelligent" except of course one non-feminist and other feminist men. Thumbing down is just a way they can tell you anonymously to p**s off.

It's a part of it all; you know the scheme of things in Yahoo Answers. Yahooooooooo!!!! Just us wee people out in computer land giving our opinions, since we're not all sitting in the same room, it's the only way it can be done.

Hmm I'm no feminist but I don't hesitate to thumbs down answers I don't like. Not like it hurts anyone anyway its just a friggin thumb. Now if they were reporting them I can see how that would be a problem.

isn't that what EVERYONE is supposed to do when they don't like an answer . I thought that was the whole point of the thumbs up thumbs down thing. I thumbs up and thumbs down like a fiend
and expect the same from others.

Point A: isn't that the point of the thumb control? if you don't like an answer, you give it a thumbs down? it's not like you're getting reported by that person.

Point B: how would you really know who "down thumbs" you? there is no sure way to know.

Because they don't agree with the answers. I'm sure you do the same thing to answer you do not like. The road runs to ways you know.

Be fair, young man. Trolls and antis do the same thing to feminist answers. I'm thinking they'll do that to certain people no matter what they say.

Because they want to express their opinion. typically the things people thumb up or down are about something the person feels very strongly for or against.
