how do you reset a printers drivers, thats what mine says, it wont let it go to standbye and it gets?

disconnected and it is still plugged in to computer, how do i fix this problem/

Uninstall the printer, restart the computer without it. Then turn off the PC, connect the printer and have the driver disk ready. Then start the PC. The OS will find the new hardware and ask for the driver disk to install it.

It sounds like there is a program that doesn't belong, go to start, then to find files and type in the name of your printer. See what comes up, if know the date that this problems started and find a program of that date, delete that program.
