Oprah is invincible. She could endorse a chipmunk for president if she wanted to and still come up on top. Think about it, if Martha Stewart could bounce back from being in JAIL for securities fraud, why wouldn't Oprah be able to do even better from backing a failed candidacy?

I hope so! She so rich that she doesn't give a hoot about what happens; she just wants more and more power and what better than a hand in the presidency.

I already see her differently. Who does she think she is, trying to influence a presidential election by getting witless talk show watchers to vote for her choice? She is using her celebrity to turn people's heads. Let people make up their own minds based on facts and his platform.

No in fact she can spend the next 4 years saying I told you so if things don't go well with someone else in the presidential seat.

Also, she is going to come out like a hero somehow - just helping the new guy with good ideas. Her PR staff will make sure it is a good thing either way

Well, when you consider the fact that, if it were not for Oprah, we wouldn't be afflicted with the cancer known as Dr. Phil, if her credibility isn't already shot, she's pretty much bullet-proof.

No, it won't hurt her in the least. And I seriously doubt she'd feel her money and time were wasted. It takes someone special to get as far up the political ladder has he has and that's a benchmark for the black community although I don't believe race is her reasons for backing him.

No, she never said he would win. She just said he is the one to vote for. Who would blame Oprah if he doesn't win?

I doubt it. She's not out there to win a popularity contest.

No, why would it? I think it would help her if anything that she was willing to do her civic duty and do something for the candidate she supported. Most of us can't say that.
