You will not be considered a Chinese if you are not a Chinese even if you are born in China. A good example is when Hong Kong were back to China rule, China refuse to give citizenship to those ethic Indians that were born in Hong Kong, although they were born and living in Hong Kong for a few generations.

You are crossing ethnicity with citizenship. A person who is born in a country other than their parent's citizenship normally has the choice of their own citizenship at 21 and some countries allow dual citizenship. People born in America get to choose American Citizenship which is one of the complications of illegal immegration.
The ethnic background in each case is that depending on how their are raised, the Chinese person might be primarily American (to the undoubted dismay of the parents) or strongly carry on the parents language, beliefs, etc. Same for an American in China.

If you're parents are Chinese and you are born in America, then you are an American of Chinese decent. China may have different laws about what it takes for you to be considered Chinese.

Born in the USA = American citizens = American
I'm not sure about China's citizenship laws, but I'm sure your nationality would then be Chinese.

Had a tough day? Way, way too long to read all that. Here's the thing, Bunky, we don't. In fact, I don't think of Chinese men at all, let alone look down on them. Don't think of Chinese women, either. So, maybe it's you and your attitude toward White American women that makes you think they look down on you. Anybody will look down on a person with a bad attitude.

If you are born here, you're American. If you are born in China, you're Chinese. If your parents have some other citizenship, then you have dual citizenship and can choose which you'd like to be.

Depends on the laws in China actually.
In the USA if you are lucky enough to be born here you are a citizen even if your parents are not. Also if at least one of your parents is a US citizen and you are born in another country you are a US citizen automatically (parents will need to visit embassy and prove DNA).

You would never be considered Chinese by the Chinese, but anyone can be American. We're cool like that.
