I was accepted to a CUNY college last fall, and deferred my acceptance to the same college to the spring.

It's been eight weeks since I completed my deferment, and the automated information on the CUNY admissions hotline still says that my "application is complete", but no information on being accepted.

I've talked to three different admissions counselors over the past two weeks, all of whom say they'll get back to me within 24 hours. None of them have, and the deadline for getting advised is on Friday.

Is anyone else having this problem?

Alright! Super! Counselors never return calls and most of the information they give is rarely credible. It helps if you can physically go there and make your move 30 minutes before lunchtime, not after. Counselors love their lunch breaks, so if you go after they have stuffed their faces or had martinis they are usually tired sluggish and slow. But go before lunchtime and watch how fast they get to work so they won't miss their precious lunch. This works in government offices and banks too.

I additionally utilized late to CUNY (Feb. eighth after the Feb 1st decrease off date) yet I basically checked on the telephone line and alter into instructed that a style has been made yet I won't get an answer for yet another 2 weeks. I say you deliver your deposit to St. John's and desire which you get into CUNY, if that's what you prefer. except you haven't any longer have been given any concern with taking a twelve months off, if worse is composed of worse, you do no longer prefer to no longer have any strategies.

If you can visit, that would be best. You could send them a registered letter, confirming that you have deferred, and asking for help. Since its registered, you'll have proof of delivery.
