Here is an excellent free program out of Isreal, will verify the site, plus give you the name and complete address of the site owner. And if the site is bad, will block in bright red.

You want to download the free CallingID toobar that will plug into your Internt Explorer, and MSN, explorer. Safe, and clean with no malware, and you comes with an uninstaller.

That kind of depends on just what you mean by "bad" sites.?

Virus infested sites? Porn sites? Scam shopping sites? MySpace? Hillary Clinton's website?

If you are using Internet Explorer browser, I would suggest IE-SPYAD to prevent further problems,

"IE-SPYAD adds a long list of sites and domains associated with known advertisers, marketers, and crapware pushers to the Restricted sites zone of Internet Explorer. Once you merge this list of sites and domains into the Registry, the web sites for these companies will not be able to use cookies, ActiveX controls, Java applets, or scripting to compromise your privacy or your PC while you surf the Net. Nor will they be able to use your browser to push unwanted pop-ups, cookies, or auto-installing programs on your PC."

You may want to check your router as well. I know on my Netgear RangeMax I'm able to block sites with keywords suck as "Sex" as well as specific domains. Just check your router before you go and download any additional software. The nice thing about doing this to a router as well is that if you add another workstation to your network it applies to that one as well without even changing a thing. ~Yiffy
