OK so earlier I asked a question about the sticky white "discharge" in my underwear and I got the answer that my period was coming soon. I'm scared. I don't want it!! It freaks me out. Well here are my questions:
1) At the beginging, are pads or tampons better?
2) What point of your period does the most blood come? (Begin, Middle, End)
3) Do tampons hurt?
4) If I leak at school, what should I do? (I AM VEEERY SHY.)
5) Will I get cranky at people easily? Will I get sad easily?
Thanks. PLease, any other advice will help. I really don't wanna wear sweat-shirts around my waist for a year until i get my period (incase I leak at school).
PS: No funny answers this is extremly akward for me!

1. pads are better..get used to those first & then you can always try tampons.
2. beginning..usually the first 2 days are the worst(heaviest)
3. Tampons do not hurt if you insert them in correctly! on the tampon box(in it) theres step by step directions on how to insert them properly.
4. I've had a leak(accident) happen once! clean it up if possible and if you're really uncomfortable go to the office & say ur not feeling well & then they'll send you home!
5. Men/Some other ppl say that woman can control there moods during there periods. I tend to get moody easily..sometimes for no reason! You may get moody/sad easily... but do something to get your mind off of whatever is bothering you..listen to music, go on a walk...watch a movie! anything...just get your mind off of the fact you're on your period! and you'll be just fine
...it's common for us women..to be afraid to go into public during there periods..I'm always afraid of leaking..so I go to the bathroom frequently to make sure that my pad is not full. If you're using a pad.. you have to change it more frequently than a tampon.. with a pad one of those could fill up easily within an hour or two. If you start with pads and want to move to wearing tampons..wear a tampon and a pad..theres different size of tampons.. heavy..thin ect.. wear a pad until you're used to the size of tampons to wear throughout your cycle..that way if your tampon gets full you have extra protection by wearing the pad also.
If you wear tampons..make sure to change it every 5-6 hrs!

I personally would start with pads then work up to tampons. The flow of your blood can depend, but usually it's heavier at the beginning or the middle. Tampon's don't hurt if you insert them correctly. Start with the smallest size then go up. If you're scared about leaking, wear dark jeans or pants. You wont get sad that easily nor will you get very cranky. That's usually when you're older and had your period for a while. I hope this helps you!

1) you should get use to pads first, but its ok to use tampons.
2) beginning, the least comes out at the end
3) tampons can hurt alittle the first few times you use them, but you get use to it, but some are different. if you put it in wrong it could hurt a lot, so make sure you put them in right!
4) go to the office. you can call home.
5) you could! you can be very irritable! but some are different, but more than likely yup!
btw: just because you have discharge doesnt mean you are getting your period right away! you might (i'm not saying you wont) but i've had discharge for 2 year now and no period! it's your vagina's way of cleaning itself. wear pantyliners. they can keep you dry and prevent leaking when you start...but when you start switch to pads so it wont leak! HOPE I HELPED!

1]Depending on how tall/bigyou are, buy some 'light day' pads and some regular ones.
2] some people have heaviest periods the first day, many the second
3] if the wrong size, or not placed correctly
4] wear black panties; bring spare panties and spare black or charcoal knit pants for locker
5] crankiness and sadness varies a lot. Eat well, take ibuprofen ot Tylenol for any cramping.
Ask what you need to do to keep meds in the clinic atschool.

1. pads. but try both to see what u like
2. everyone's different. mine would be the middle.
3. not if you put them in the right way.
4. you should bring a tide pen with you and go to the nurse's. just go up to the teacher and say u have feminine problems. lol.
5. depends, everyone's different again.
don't be so worried about leaking at school!! there will not be that much your first time. just ask to go to the nurse if you find yourself leaking and ask for a pad, or just use toilet paper
it isn't as bad as ppl make it out to be. you will get used to it in time!
^_^ good luck !!

2. Prolly the middle, well for me it is.
3. If you dont have the right size, then yes!

Just keep some extra cloths and pads in a bag in your locker. Tampons can hurt if not put in right..I use them when I am going some where.Your periods will differ from month to month as you get older and your body grows..Most women have heavy periods in the middle. You migh get moody at times just take a breath and count to 10..LOL..works for me. Hope this helps out

This is nothing to worry about. Pads are the best while young later you can experiment with tampons first or 2nd day will probably be your heaviest. sometimes you might get a little cramping in your tummy but it will pass always carry a couple of spare pads with you. and another pair of underpants. This is all part of turning into a woman from Childhood and it's something all of us females have to get used to.
