I can only imagine terror and extreme fear and panic. They say a picture says it all or words to that effect but I find it so strange how this woman is able to do this considering how the Towers collapsed.. I have my doubts and feel a more sinister force was acting on that cruel day... Nothing is what is seems it's just a pity more people didn't question and see what was before their eyes...

It must be very difficult for the husband - knowing your wife survived the first dreadful event, the plane striking the tower and at the level she was on only to be killed by another - the collapse of the tower.

How can you put yourself in the place of this woman - thoughts - probably confusion - surreal.

What the hell happened?

I dont think this woman could have survived, what a sad day for many people.
Such a shocking, sad event.
When the towers came tumbling down, I just could not believe it and to think this woman and many others were in them. Wow, terrible.Such an evil, despicable act.

Do a You Tube search for "Kevin Cosgrove". Listen to it...it's about a hundred times worse than the horror of that picture.

Except for the lucky few in and above the impact zones who happened to make it out, none of those poor buggers had a chance.

I imagine I would be in total shock, then the survival mechanism would kick in, and I would start to look for a way to get out of there.

What a truly awful experience to go through.

I don't know, i think that i would have been numb with shock. I have a friend who was in charge of a Blue Circle project in Egypt when it happened and the muslims he and the other Brits had been working with for two years were beside themselves with joy. They didn't think it at all funny when my friend pulled all his staff out and left the country. The plant has never been finished, the overjoyed b******s lost their jobs and he will never go back to finish it!

I would imagine the feeling would be of sheer terror. I hope the poor woman survived.

in a weird way she was probably calm, in total shock. to her, i imagine, it would almost have been as if she wasn't there.....but really who knows. i guess she was thinking of her family and whether she'd see them again!
I'll never forget that day, it still makes me cry now, to see such suffering and violence caused by one man onto another.
i hope that all the victims, their families, friends and the city are now at peace.
