Maybe they are but they will ALWAYS be remembered for cheating just like OJ will be remembered for killing 2 beautiful people. That's not unfair, that's the consequences of doing something wrong and getting caught. They can win every game from now until Belichek retires and nothing will change what people think of the Patriots. *Winners* yes, cheaters yes.

Of course they are, I already forgot about the Spygate Scandal until you just brought it up. The thing is, the alleged "cheating" happened in the first game, so it was done before thier campaign towards greatness.
Maybe they were "cheaters" to some extent (alot of other NFL teams probably do the same thing) but it is in no way comparable to the OJ Simpson murder case. How can somebody brutally slaying his own family be related to signal stealing? They will still be remembered for thier accomplishments, not the spying. Now they havent gone undefeated yet, they havent even won a playoff game, but if they do go undefeated and win the Super Bowl, they will be the second greatest team ever behind the 85 Bears, and possibly the best depending on how the season ends up.
Ask yourself this; after seeing how the Patriots have dominated this season, does it really seem like spying on teams has helped them at all? No. This is a team with talent, great coaching, and the will to be the best.

Why are you such a hateful person? The Patriots cheated and got fined big time. From this terrible incident,teams would become suspicious so they change up most of their signals. It's not like the Patriots are taping every single team. The Patriots worked hard, off season, and during the season. They are a great team and that's that. Nothing you can change about it unless you're in the NFL.

Do you really think that the Patriots' confiscated videotapes of opposing defensive coordinators fully account for their start this season, which has been the most dominant of all time? The 2007-2008 Patriots are easily one of the best teams that the NFL has ever seen. Yes, they did cheat, but I don't think you can reasonably claim that much of their incredible play is a product of their cheating. I was pissed to hear the Patriots cheated, too, but I think you're overreacting.

That is without a doubt the most disturbing reference you could have ever made, aside from the fact that teams all around the nfl use video to compile facts about an opposing team, comparing the greatest NFL team in history to a slob like OJ Simpson is disgusting. Dim Watty. The Patriots were caught in the first quarter of the first game of the season. They never got the benefit of illegally picking up the Jets' signals, not that they needed them. The Patriots have been under scrutiny since. They are the one team that you can be sure IS NOT CHEATING this year.
As for your analogy to double murder, well, just about everyone else found the reference offensive.

Wow, I have seen it all. You are now comparing a coach who broke a rule and put a camera in the wrong place (unlike in the coaches booth or the stands) to a murderer who killed to innocent people. Man, you are pathetic. You really need to step back and get a life.
