Ok well he wants to buy MSI NX8600GT-T2D256E OC GeForce 8600GT 256MB 128-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16 SLI however im having trouble distinguishing if his current mobo is a PCI or AGP because hes just telling me that his video card is NVIDIA GeForce 6150SE nForce 430 but im thinking it might be integrated to his mobo because of the included nForce 430. Any help is appriciated :)

I repeat:

1080P??? That's one of the hardest jobs you could ever ask a computer to do.

The most expensive graphics card on the planet won't help because your older PC's CPU will choke on that much data!!! And, I'm guessing, you don't even have enough RAM.

You need to save your money and buy a "state of the art" system designed specifically for what you want to do.

NVIDIA GeForce 6150SE nForce 430 is intergrated. You would need a PCI.
