Grade wise I did really good, I went to all of my classes and worked hard. My roommate however had to drop out because she never went to class and blew off working to party constantly. I hope that helps!

My first semester in college I took an "experimental" college because the teachers were all so excited about it. It was supposed to give us credit for our general education area for full-time. When the class started the teachers hadn't decided how the college was going to fulfill their individual requirements. Everyday they spent the entire day arguing about it.
Occasionally they would have us gather in a circle, hold hands, and chant "Ohm." I don't know how that was supposed to educate us, but it was useless! Around three-quarters of the way through the semester I got a job that said if I wanted the job I had to quit school. It was a no-brainer! I quit and took the job.
I went back, but took the traditional classes, part time, while working. When I transferred from community college to university I had a 3.67 GPA.
Even if you have a false start, you go back until you finish up, and make your dreams happen.

I got better grades than I ever got in high school, even though I'm at a really prestigious school--that happened because, for once, I was interested in what I was learning. Second semester I had to take Italian, though, and that brought down my GPA a bit because I suck at languages.

Not well. I had to drop Calculus because our professor had health problems and had to leave. I got a C+ in every other class.
Why? I was too obsessed with religion, relaxing, and having fun to concentrate more on my schoolwork.

I did okay. Why does it matter? You are in your transition period.
