I love the cookies that are basic cookie on the outside and a hershey's kiss on the inside. When you eat one of these when they're still hot it's like heaven in my mouth!

My favorite Christmas cookies are Cherry Winks, a date-and-cherry fruit cookie flavored with chopped walnuts and rolled in crushed cornflakes, with a quarter maraschino cherry on the top like the wink of an eye.
Crispy outside, chewy inside, golden brown and delicious---a family favorite for four generations at my house--the recipe is available online in many, many websites.

A sugar cookie with nutmeg. We would paint them with an egg yoke and food coloring before baking them. I made them with my parents and now my kids make them with me!!!
