pocket, jacket, sock, bra, shoe, glasses case, pencil case, little carrying case, binder, change purse, you can tape them to your body under your clothes (ive had to do this...), a colored (non see through) dry water bottle, newspaper (done this too), someone else carry them for you, under a hat, in your car (if you going someplace and can go back to your car), they also have little cases just for tampons, in a book (just keep it closed)
i have more if you need them

Assuming you've ruled out alternate orifices like nostrils, there aren't many options for the woman who won't carry a purse. Pockets is about it.
Or strap one to your leg like it was a throwing knife!

Pants pockets.
The small slim Tampax Pearl Lites fit nicely in my pants pocket.

I wrapped around the tampon with the paper towels, when I put them in the back pack.

Get the kind w/o an applicator (OB brand, I think) and put it in your pocket? They're really small.
