Would most people rather create or destroy?

It's simply easier to destroy than to create. It takes time and effort to create whereas all it takes is animalistic instinct to destroy. Since humans are collectively inherently lazy (physically and intellectually), most will prefer to destroy.

Note: By destroying something, you tend to create a huge mess.
