that the incidents will enable God to "achieve a great victory." What do you think about his words, and how could a great victory occur from this? Over the last year or so in the US there have been many incidents of violence at religious institutions. I wonder why? Is the Lord trying to tell us something or is the devil out shouting him? And must we now arm ourselves before attending religious functions?

The idea that something as horrific as the incidents in Omaha and Colorado might finally bring us all to our senses, is certainly something to hope and pray for. I know nothing of the reason, if any, that this shooting occured in Colorado. Only after knowing the reason(if ever we do)for this idiocy, will we be able to figure out if this person was wronged in some way or came unglued for no discernable reason. I do know that the intersection of the mentally ill and high powered weapons is a prescription for Hell to be unleashed, and it is we, not God who need to do a much better job of making sure this doesn't happen

"All things work together for the good of those who love God and are called ccording to His purpose" (Romans 8:28). Not all things ARE good, but work together FOR good. God will use this, and we may not ever see how, ourselves.

In a side sarcastic tone that some may not be comfortable with yet (and for that I apologize), I think that in this day and age, for some people going to the mall IS a "religious function."
