i was wondering what games would you recommend that a buy for my wii.

Super Mario Galaxy: Should be Game of the Year on any non-biased gaming sites. Easy to pick up and play whenever you feel like.
Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess: Game of the Year 2006. Need I say more? Excellent adventure game.
Resident Evil 4: If you're into killing zombies, this is your game.
Metroid Prime 3 Corruption: Best shooting and adventure game out on all consoles. Original storyline, great visuals and excellent gameplay.
Wii Sports/Play: Wii play comes with a free remote and they both help get a feel for the wii remotes.
If you like sports games, try Madden 08, Mario strikers football/soccer or any other EA sport titles.
Games that come out soon and are reccomended. Mario Kart Wii and Animal Crossing Wii, No More Heroes, NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams and Super Smash Bros. Brawl.

Super mario galaxy-best reviewed game EVER and first REAL NEXT GEN GRAPHICS FOR Wii, medal of honor heroes 2 - best first person shooter controls for ANY console, online multiplayer, runs in 480p and 16:9 at 60 frames, awesome....twlight princess-up to 70 HOURS OF GAMEPLAY, RE4 and RE umbrella chorincles.....must check out zack and wiki, metroid prime 3, madden 08, ravin rabbids, lego star wars the complete saga, GODFATHER Blackhand edition, mario strikers-online..trauma center 1 and 2...all of these games were rated good to excellent...also smash bros brawl is coming....have fun.
These games cover you for mini games, sports, shooters, adventure, puzzle games for kids ll the way to adults. Have fun

Sonic and the Secret rings (This also has mini games like Miario party, so it's fun to play with lots of people)
