We eat CHRISTMAS EVES at moms then Christmas day at my sisters- my brother in law reads out of Luke- the Birth of Jesus -with just the fireplace and Christmas tree lights- It is just beautiful- it always gives me chills- then we sing Silent Night-then we eat- and just enjoy family time- after we eat- we sit around the tree and open gifts-

My family always opened one gift on Christmas Eve. We also buy one new ornament each per year--you can imagine that our tree is pretty full!

My fiance and I are spending our first Christmas living together this year, and we have already decided on a couple of traditions. We will be giving each other an ornament on Christmas Eve every year, as well as buying a "tacky Christmas tree" every year. We started with a 24-inch purple tinsel tree this year!

this goes back to (this is what I tell my wife) the old country, Poland Every Newyear we order a pizza. When we get done, we toss the box up onto the roof. If the box lands up there open, it means we will have good luck that year. If it land on the roof closed bad luck. Funny thing she belived it at first...
