Repel the attack and report the stalker to the policemen instead of putting a sign that the house is a gun free zone.

No I would not. But then again, I live in a gun toting zone. If it helps the libs cope though none of my guns are loaded with more than $20 of ammunition.

Why do liberals think that 9 of the Amendments in the Bill of Rights protect the rights of the people, but the 2nd amendment protects the rights of sate governments to have a national guard?

Got your point, but there are still many other options of killing someone from a distance other then a bullet.
I have two intelligent german shepherd bitches from Germany that have been professional trained as Schutzand 5. If you can get by these dogs, then my home security will alert me to arm myself with other means.

I agree with you 100%, thieves and killers will always go after the easiest targets. I don't expect police to help - they are just interested in prosecuting the criminals after they've murdered me. I'd rather not be dead, and I think any thinking human being who had any instinct for self-preservation would too.

no, not at all, that just lets the killer know you don;t have a gun and it makes his job easier... unless you were joking and had a gun.

Most gun battles with home intrusion end up killing everybody in a slaughter.
Your gun is very false security IN FACT.
Besides, anybody who is really determined to kill you iin particular, will find a way.
Why not just mine your front lawn and buy the kids helmets?
