i say im sorry if someone's sick or something that im not doing right. or for being impatient, etc. i really want to stop its annoying me too.

It's not a bad thing to show empathy or apologize for doing wrong.
Try to distinguish between "I'm sorry", " I regret", "I apologize". When you give it a little more thought you won't be saying it too fast and without necessity.

I think you overapologize because you tend to feel guilty a lot even though its' not your fault. My friend has the exact same problem and it kind of does get annoying after a while. I think the only way to stop this if for you to ask yourself or think something through before you say sorry... is it my fault? do i need to say sorry? did i do anything wrong? Hope this helps...
