The only thing that could have been done would have had to be done the instant he got the paint on the jeans. He would have to wash them instantly. After it's dry there is no way to remove the paint. Now you use more paint to turn them into an art project, or just use them for painting projects.

Just keep the jeans for all painting jobs as you really need to remove paint with white spirit before the paint dries. Next time tell your boyfriend to wear his oldest clothes or cover himself with a bin bag before he paints!

Some people pay good money to get them like that.
You didnt say wha type of paint it was, if its emulsion you should have soaked them in cool water first, ifs its gloss then white spirit would shift it but it sounds like its too late now if you've hot washed them.

try and scrape off the dries in paint and then scrub with a scrubbing brush.
it might not work though if you have already washed them as the paint will have "set"
You don't say whether it's gloss or emulsion

Yeah, it probable wont come off... except you bleach the spot (assuming your denims are white and not an off-white colour) you may attempt soaking them in warm water and later scrub them... it relatively is my superb guess different than only paying for a sparkling pair.
