I've been intentionally ignoring this story because I think the media reaction is horrible. I don't need to see this man being arrested or, watch his every move in the meantime.

My sympathies go out to everyone concerned and it isn't my intent to downplay their situation but, certainly, there are much more important things going on in the world.

I think the media shouldn't have been there in the first place, that they need to pull out and allow the normal police processes to take their course.

Like so many of these stories, this one has been gruesome. The media and public reaction reflects poorly upon our entire society, imo.

Don't you think?

Because it allows the media to not have to report on other controversial news stories , like Red China`s threat to the USA by controlling billions in stocks & bonds , like the threat of Red China increasing it`s military to compare with ours , like getting the damn fence up on the border , like cutting off federal funding for "sanctuary cities" that refuse to report Illegals , and offer them drivers license & ID `s , like not passing the bill for the funding of the soldiers in the war against terrorism , etc. etc.

Not watched here either. Seems the media have caught on that in the old days the magazines about true crime and the like sold like hot cakes, thus a bunch of shows about things we would rather not eat dinner watching or see every time we turn around, although we know it's there.

now that I write this I am glad they overplay about the children and the young lady in Aruba. It may be good as it brings to mind what can happen and what to watch for and how horrible it is. this case brings up about his third wife and if found guilty it might shed light on others and also stop some of this abuse. So I don't sit on the end of the chair, nor do I want to have t watch it all the time, but it's a free country and I have the right to switch. You will find even on hear many go nuts over this case and others.

So on the one hand it is goo that the word is out on the other hand you are correct as to judge is easy and how many see a retraction printed in the paper after the damage has been done. This case warrants what's going on and maybe it will never happen again.

Some day the mags that had the spaceman shakng hands with the presidential candidates will have a channel.

No I don't want to be bombarded by this stuff, but it may make a impact on the general public and help others. Take care.

This is, of course, further proof that the competition among media outlets for advertising dollars has reached ridiculous proportions. When a school bus crashes and some poor child is killed, the "reporters" are on the parents almost before they've been informed that they'll have to spend the rest of their lives one child short. MSNBC had some current or former profiler who was just an idiot after the nitwit in Omaha decided to go out in "style". The only retired colonel who hasn't been interviewed about our failed foreign policy in the Middle East is Colonel Sanders.

The feeding frenzy by press is deplorable. It shows a degeneration of our society. The situation is truly bad, and there is no sensitivity shown for any of the people involved. The missing woman's family, her husband, weather innocent or guilty, yet remains to be seen. (this is still America...innocent until proven guilty!) The press needs to pull back on a LOT of things in my opinion...but its only my opinion.

Every time I see the footage of him holding his camera and pointing it to the sky, I want to knock his lights out.

I usually watch Nancy Grace weeknights, and every night it's the Peterson case. This guy indulges in the spotlight but you have to think that this is good for thinking.

Hear me out: if this kind of case processes the conversation of law then it's not all bad. I rarely hear people talk about the rule of law and what the law says, now I hear people talking about it because of cases like these.

I am not familiar with the Peterson case so I cannot comment. What puzzles me is if , as everyone there thinks, he is guilty then why has he not been arrested ? We have a similar case here in the UK with the McCanns. . to my American friends a 4 yo child has gone missing and many people are accusing them of crimes which they may or may not have been committed, but they also have not been arrested. Get my point ?

My last meal comes up every time I see his smug, serial murdering face.

The media has beaten this dead horse. The next time I want to see it, is with him in handcuffs meeting his new roommate "Bubba" (no offense Bubba).

It is horrible for the families of those women to have to see this jerk free. The media should just back off.

Just about every question & answer on here is because we all saw something on "THE MEDIA".

It's part of living in a democracy. The feeding frenzy is because that is what the public wants.

It is disgusting. It is so wrong to put these murderers in the spotlight. It just encourages other sociopaths.
