Honestly I don't like malls. Way too many people for me. I make my purchase and then I'm out the door! I really don't like hanging around the mall like a mall rat.

Naaa. I'm probably in greater danger when I walk down the street.
There was actually a shooting in the mall near here (about 12 years ago, I think). Some dude went bonkers after his girlfriend broke up with him. Later that day, he followed her and her friends to the mall. After shooting his ex, her friends, and a few shoppers, he went inside one of the clothing stores. The police found him dead in one of the dressing rooms. They said that he shot himself after trying on various suits. All of his victims survived.
Anywhooo.... Like you, I don't enjoy visiting malls. I only visit the nearby mall occasionally to buy a thing or two from a Chinese lady who has a stand near the water fountain. Although, one of these days, I would like to go to the Mall of America to see what all the fuss is about.

The whole reason something is considered news is because it is considered unusual. Spre killing are terrible for the people involved, but they are such a rare phenomenon that you would be crazy to organize your life around your fear of spree killers.
That sais, I don't like malls either. I only go to the mall because they have a PayLess Shoe Source.

No more than I am to walk the streets. Which I don't do either. What difference does it make if the area has a roof or not?

If it's your time to go, then it's your time to go...You can't escape the destiny that God has for you....Why is it you fear of getting shot when you should fear where will you go once you die, are you sure you will be in heaven or in hell?
