To the other poster: They didn't need 2 scores! They were down 17-12.

IMHO, it's a lot easier to get a first down than it is to cover an onside kick. Where's Kevin Mawae and Pete Kendall when you need a little pass protection? Oh that's right they're on other teams. $#!T!

Dumb dumb dumb dumb dumb. But in the grand scheme of things, losses now can only help the draft.

You mean at the very end of the game? Well they needed two scores and why lose all the time you have left on the clock trying to get those last yards? You kick the fg, put the points on the board and hope to recover the onside kick... which they almost did. Then heave a couple long passes down the field and pray.
