There have been some very mysterious deaths that could have possibly been connected with disclosure of information that certain people do not desire to see distributed. Whether the sort of information you speak of is of that nature is hard to tell. In the recent past there have been several people involved in the effort to discover better methods of automobile propulsion and energy production who have died suddenly and unexpectedly. Whether they were actually killed cannot be factually determined, but their deaths certainly ended their promising experiments, leaving many wondering what happened to their discoveries......
Contrary to what Cyanne says, if it was on the web, it was probably removed if it was important enough for certain people to desire it's disappearance. There have been many web pages pulled because of the information they contained...... If I were you, I would look to see if the information you speak of is currently available on the web. If it is easily found, you are probably safe..... However, if the information you have can no longer be found on the web, I would be very careful about making it readily available if such availability could be traced back to you......

If they got it off the web, there is almost ZERO chance they'd be murdered for it.
