They point blank held onto Big Ben's helmet and jersey bringing him down. Isn't that a flag?

Forest...no, they don't. It is called cheating. Big Ben could have SERIOUSLY been hurt.
Not cool what they did...and even worse when they weren't called on it.

S-dawg...Yes, I do and it is obvious YOU weren't watching the game because "I" know at least that when you tackle that you aren't suppose to hold the helmet because you can seriously hurt people doing that.

RJ..It wasn't an accident. They first grabbed the helmet and his head moved. They then moved their hand to grab his jersy. It was the grabbing of the helmet which brought Big Ben down. It was intent plain as day.

Jamed...The Ref was directly in front of the play. There was not any way that they could not have seen it. The replay that I recorded showed EXACTLY what happened. The Refs have been told not to penalize the Pats...it has been obvious after the past 3 games.

Once a Cheater, Always A Cheater.
It works with football, too.
Those refs must love the money the Pats are paying them.

I did not have a chance to watch the game, but i did see the mighty cowboys just whip the Lions and I mean just. I figured the lions would win and cover, just like the nE/Philly game and then the 'nailbiter' with Green Bay and Oakland.
If they held his helmet it is an automatic 1st down. If it was done with intent, then 15 yards, as an accident, which is what yo seem t be saying as they grabbed the jersey and part of the helmet, then it is a 1st down and 5 yards. Sometimes we can see things in slow mo that the refs cannot see.
Interesting how things effect a game. As the Lions did smoe kin do kick that gave Dalas the ball at the 45 and in the Philly game someone jumped offsides when NE was kicking and in that case NE would not have won, as it was in the Lions game Dallas scored with a few seconds and if they had kicked the ball right the Lions would have won.
i feel it is stupid when I watched the defensive linemen today falling on and crushing the QB from San Dieago. I noticed in the carolina and Green bay game a defensive lineman for Carolina had a clear shot at the Green bAy QB and knocked him down but did not try to hurt him and held himself up so he would no put all 350 pounds on him. The league should make a rule that you cannot try and kill a quarterback. Most watch the game for the quarterback and when hurt it messes everything up, so they should be much mor e careful.
Hopefully what you saw will be on the ESPN and other sports shows and show it. No a QB is much to important and an attacking lineman will get through, poor New Orleans had about 21 sacks a coouple of weeks ago and highest in the league, poor QB. It is important to protect them. They did have the "in the grasp" and not sure what happened.
When Don McNabb was hurt everyone figured it was over for Philly but they picked up the 13 th ranked QB and he almost big NE. As I said the offsides on the punt gave them the game. I knew Philly would couver and might have won, scope out the question. But it the refs did something that obviouslthen it shold be on the sports nts tonight and I will watch the replay on NFL net. Can yo tell me in which quarter did it happen during. Take care and Merry Christmas.

Cause the Pats have handsomely bought out those refs. This was never going to be a fair game. We knew this when the schedule came out.
