washing jeans a special way?

whenever i wash a pair of my jeans and then wear them, they always make my legs itch like crazy for like the first day or two that i wear them. any ideas why?

You're probably allergic to your detergent. Get a 'free' or 'dye free' version of your detergent and see if that helps. You can try not using dryer sheets or fabric softener for the same reasons.

people are always using too much detergent and it stays in the fabric. Use less and rinse twice with cool water.
