i have a runes cape account called kaspercasper and I'm having a problem.my problem is that every time i try to talk it only shows it on private chat and public chat but others dont see it and when i try to talk on my clan chat called dragon blaze,when i try to send a message it doesn't show it or my friends cant see it.please help me!!!

look at the buttons on bottom, that say public chat on private chat, if those are on friends then right click and turn them on, if thats not the problem then i don't know what is.

this means u must be muted in some kind of way. Muted means Runescape has blocked you from talking for a certain number of days (usually 3-6 days). You can no longer talk until your muting is over but it does not tell you when your mute is over so keep checking every day on your Runescape account to see if others can see your typing. Usually when I got muted once I just said to check if I am no longer muted "Say 123 if you can see this message".

Try looking at the bottom buttons. If you are talking on private chat click private on, if you are talking in clan turn chat on, and if your friends cant see what you said, then that means your account has been muted. Too find out about your mute go too the main page and click on the appeal ban/offense. log in. it will tell you all your offences and restrictions. Hope that helps!

It's likely you've been muted. I've been muted a while back (MIND YOU I didn't do anything bad; a hacker did T___T) and I was thinking "wtf is happening?"
Usually after a few hours of the problem you will get a Jagex message in your message box, stating that you are muted and for what reason. It is possible to appeal, the option is on the front page. You will probably also see the offending material in question, so you will know what you did wrong.

When your muted, whatever you tpye into the chat box or any sort of communication with the game. NO ONE will see it because you are muted, which means no matter what you tpye, no one else will see it. To repeal you mute, go to view offences/ban on the main page, near the bottom in the section account recovery or something.

you're probably muted or something...That problem doesn't (if at all) occur to other people often....So you're probably just muted. It could be a bug in the system and if so go to runescape's homepage and click on "report bug/fault".

ON the bottom of the runescape screen there is many buttons
(friends, all, clan, and so on) click on the all button and you will see everything.
