Bob Dylan's Positively 4th Street

A number of Led Zeppelin's and Bob Dylan's songs have titles that are not referenced in the lyrics nor have any obvious relation to the lyrical content (e.g., "D'yer Mak'er" or "Trampled Underfoot" by Zeppelin, "Rainy Day Women #12 and 35" by Dylan).

The Eagles' "The Last Resort" has a title with no explicit reference to the song.

"A Day in the Life" by the Beatles would also qualify.

There was a song on Steve Miller's second album, "Sailor," written by Boz Scaggs (who did the lead vocals) called "Dime a Dance Romance."

Timberwolves At New Jersey - Taking Back Sunday.
Set Phasers to Stun - Taking Back Sunday.
One-Eighty By Summer - Taking Back Sunday.
The Blue Channel - Taking Back Sunday.
(I love TBS, by the way, and I actually do like their random song titles.)
This Is The Best Day Ever - My Chemical Romance (<3!!).
But It's Better If You Do - Panic! At The Disco.
For A Pessimist I'm Pretty Optimistic - Paramore (<3).
Wow, I Can Get Sexual Too - Say Anything.

That's all I can think of at the moment.

Song for Jeffrey ~ Jethro Tull

I'm going to mention them again! :~

Possum's Last Dance {instrumental} ~ Blackmore's Night
Possum Goes to Prague {inst} ~ Blackmore's Night

The question is, is Possum a possum, or a person? Or even some other animal? Without lyrics, we just don't know!

I don't think "File Under Soft Core Seizures" by The Locust has anything to do with the song....i don't think most of their titles do.

"You Don't Need a Witness" by The Sound of Animals Fighting...not that i can tell anyway

Although Don Caballero was instrumental, their song titles were ridiculous. Examples include:
"Let's face it pal, you didn't need that eye surgery"
"Details on how to get ICEMAN on your license plate"
"A lot of people tell me I have a fake British accent"

As for a song with lyrics:
"Packt like sardines in a crushd tin box" by Radiohead

The Shins-Sleeping Lessons
Colbie Caillat-Bubbly
Fergie-Clumsy

I think more pop and alternative rock have titles that dont relate to the lyrics.
