Wait till his record of tax hikes, ethics violations and amnesty for illegal immigrants is brought to light, he'll be falling just as fast in the polls.
EDIT: the money raised by the Paul campaign didn't go towards the blimp, it's an independent project being funded by a few of his supporters.. ugh no wonder people like Huckabee, Giuliani and Obama poll so high.. no one bothers to do research

Based on the performance of the current president and his asswipe cronies, I would have guessed that God could run as a Republican in a year and lose in a landslide. Mike Huckabee is, however, a very likeable guy. He's plain spoken, not high falootin', and if he isn't a neo-con dressed in centrist clothing, he could very well capitalize on America's growing lack of fervor for Willard and Rudolph. Is he the clear favorite? No! He's the current favorite!

Who knows?
I am an Evangelical Christian, but I may not vote for
Huckabee because of his history on illegal immigrants.
I have lived in Florida for 30 years and our population has
become half Latino and most are here illegally.
Huckabee just doesn't seem to want to tackle
the problem.

Huckabee is still gaining momentum because the voters see him for his no flip flop on issues making him a solid candidate.
Everyone already knows about his stance on issue such as Illegal immigration and taxes, but he is still readily accepted.
Most everyone realizes that he agrees that he made a mistake in letting out the guy who raped a girl and later killed a girl.
He readily accepts to be accountable for trying to give someone a second chance. He feels guilty enough, so why would we make him feel any for the worse.
Hilary is sliding away as her corruption of lies entangles her.
Obama is being brought up on the coat tail of Oprah.
And isn't Dr Ron Paul out flying in his blimp?
I am sure that everyone is outside in the freezing air waving to support him. What a total waste of campaign money raised.

He has had a sudden surge in the primaries in a couple of states - that doesn't make for a Presidency! Keep in mind that there is still almost a year ahead of us until the elections.

No , he is a nice man but he is a Republican and that name lives a sour taste in most all peoples mouth. Bush and Al Capone killed the Republican Party and we still don't know half of what all they have done. I feel sorry for either party to walk in that office and see what is hidden all over the whole place even the toilet's.

No, he's way behind in New Hampshire and many other states. He's only doing well because of his religion. Once people start looking at his terrible record they'll abandon him.

i don't usually vote republican but he's a really great guy... i lived in Arkansas for a few years and he really worked hard to help the underdog... he once said that he's pro life but that (unlike most pro lifers) he wanted to funnel funds into taking care of the children after they're born.. not just worrying about them when they're in the womb but on the outside as well... he just gives me a good feeling (you know the way that dick Cheney makes your skin crawl?? well it's the opposite of that!!) lol .. i hope he gets the republican bid

Hardly a faborite. Huckabee might get the GOP nomination. But the American people are NOT going to be dumb enough to vote for another right-wing religious ideologue. huckabee is simply not electable. If the GOP nominates him, they simply guarantee the Democrats a victory.
