I kind of like this name, but then again, I could easily hear it being the name of some trashy stripper or prostitute. Is this a nice name or not?

For those of you who have already answered, thank you for your honesty! I appreciate honesty, even if you think it is the worst idea of a name you ever heard and you want to puke, chop your ears off just listening to it as you say it aloud.

Hey, that's how I feel about a certain made up girls name starting with N and ending in h. You all know which one I'm referring to.

Oh, I know it is not 100% original; not even 75% original and I don't care about that. I just think of this name every so often and think its cute, but I have my reservations and that is why I want as many opinions as possible. I'm kind of leaning towards NO though.

I really like the name too, but as soon as you said 'stripper' all thoughts of it as a suitable name vanished instantly. I think maybe it would be a good middle name.

I also think it would be a pretty cute middle name :]

How about..

Madison Lyric

Jennifer Lyric

Zoey Lyric

Christiana Lyric

Christabel Lyric

Kailyn Lyric (hmm im still not sure i like this one)

Francesca Lyric

Angelina Lyric

Or, if you really do like it as a first name, (because it IS your choice) I think Lyric Evangeline sounds nice, avoiding the fact that it sounds like a prostitute or stripper.

Maybe try something else music related?

Aria

Melody

Harmony

Shira (means song)

Carol

I think it is beautiful -- but then again, I was an English major in college, so I like things that sound poetic.

It doesn't make me think of a stripper at all. I just makes me think of a word, but if Hope, Patience, Jade, Daisy, Melody, and Apple work as girls' names, I see no reason that Lyric shouldn't work as well.

I guess a lot of names can be taken the wrong way. I think it's a great, feminine name. Lyric. Very pretty. But it DOES sort of sound like a stripper. I love the name Anel (Ah-nel) it's so angelic and innoncent, unless you mispronounce it then u get Anal. Not good.

Go with your feelings, the name is unusual and I really like it, have not heard of anyone with this name before and would love to know someone with such a cool name.

I think it has a nice ring to it, i could easily picture a lyric- someone sort of artsy and very confident. Thats good you would have to grow into it though because you need confidence to make it work but i like it

I don't like it simply because it sounds like the parent is trying too hard to come up with something original to name their child. I'm alright with individuality but names like that or ryder, or something just don't do it for me.

I like the name lyric for a little girl but it might be hard to find a middle name for her that flows nicely together.

Hmmmmm...Not bad...Not bad at all...

I mean if you think that it's a trashy name then maybe you should look for something else!

I mean once you name your child something you won't be able to change it!

Or,why don't you use it as a middle name??

Hope I Helped!
