I'm from England and I've seen certain people saying that this is the American site so we shouldn't answer.I answer anyone on any site and will continue to do so, I have never been rude and I'd just like to ask your opinions on this if I may,how do you feel about it?
This is my first question and I'd appreciate your answers.

Hi hun, welcome to Ya! This isn't the American site it is the UK and Ireland site, but many people sign up for the International site in English, hence so many people from the States and elsewhere, can be confusing at times, but just enjoy.

As a rule, I don't like to be rude, but some people just invite it with their race/colour/hate/intolerant questions & remarks. I give as good as I get. So this is an American site?I didn't know that, as I am a new user too(well only been here for a short time)I give the Americans plenty in my answers, & i've never had one complain yet, so I guess they are as laid back as we Aussies.

I wasn't aware this was an American site. Not only are there other English people here but I've picked UK + Ireland questions, so I suspect the Americans are mistaken and being somewhat egotistical. They also think they invented the car. They didn't. To answer your original question, yes, I do find it rude.

This is actually the UK site. Because its English it gets merged with the American site so you have every right to answer what you want.

Spider, I'm in the U.S. and honestly didn't know that there were "versions" of Y!A. As far as I'm concerned, anyone with half a brain and some perserverance is welcome (no, I'd like all users to have a full brain). Oh, and by the way, rudeness is international.

on the internet you can be anyone you want and you don't know who the person on the outher end is and if they are who they say they are so i don't think we shud point out someone because they are from a difforent place because the whole reason of the internet is to connect people from round the world.

yes i agree the yanks do get on my nerves sometimes but one of the things we need in this world is understanding and tolerance

I knew you were British from your accent.

People think I'm rude because of the way I dress.

How can they tell?

You can talk to whoever you want to here, if they think you're rude, maybe they should look in the mirror.

Don't worry about it, OK?
