light candles and play board games or word games ...see who can name the most RED things or words that start with Q or something like that:) *also Bible Trivia is a lot of fun too*

Guess it depends on how young the kids are. Card games like Old Maid, Go Fish, Uno, etc., Board games depending on their age, scrabble is good - when my kids were little we'd make up a story, each one of us telling the next part of it, and draw pictures to make a book out of it. Did a lot of drawing, reading - you just need a candle or flashlight.Hope it helped
