I asked a question about about how I can resist my dogs begging for table scraps, I get some answers like "STOP GIVING HIM TABLE SCRAPS!! GEEZ!"... duh....That was the question.

Why can't some of you take a joke? Seriously! I know dogs do not hump each other because they are attracted to one another.

Some of you guys are so judgmental! If someone is doing one small thing wrong with their pet, you call them morons and that they shouldn't own a pet. Does that make you feel like a better pet "owner"?

The only reason someone deserves rudeness is when they are clearly and purposely harming their pets.

NO question on here is stupid. So don't act like it is common sense and be an *** about it.

You may not realize it, but those comments can hurt someone's feelings. It hurts mine when the answer isn't even directed to me.

I don't think I have read an advice question on here that didn't have a rude answer. God people, chill out.

dearha...:
At least she is concerned about her pet. She didn't even have to ask. She could have just ignored it.
Yes, it is obvious her dog needs a vet, but no one needs to be viscous.

Simply put; people love their dogs and hate the fact that they are being treated badly. It makes us upset, and therefor sometimes we are rude.
Now I'm not saying you're treating your dogs badly because I didn't read your question, but when you see things like "OH MY GOD MY DOG IS LYING ON THE SIDE WALK BECAUSE HE FELL OFF THE ROOF WHEN WE WERE PLAYING FETCH AND HE'S BLEEDING WHAT DO I DO?!" it's bound to make you a tad irritated.
..And yes, that was a real question.
If you look beyond the rudeness or what seems rude you will see you've been given some good advice. I try not to be rude but sometimes it's hard when it's obvious people shouldn't be allowed to keep their dog, like the example given above.

Edit:
Somebody just asked,
"Dog labor !!!?
She had one puppy at 3pm and the next at 3:32 and the next 4:25 and she just bleeding and no babies coming out.....is that ok how long can it last ? can the babies die inside if there longer than 2 hours?"

^^ Now can you see why we get upset?

Guess you have not seen some of the questions in this section. Some are REALLY STUPID!!!!!!

If people come HERE to ask a question of TOTAL strangers, they are asking for whatever people say. Who cares what people say that you don't even know!!! Sticks and stones and all that. If people get their feelings hurt by what people say to them here, they better stop asking questions and get some therapy!!!

Hey, I agree that people should be able to ask ANYTHING they want on here. BUT, they have to be able to take all the answers they get too!!! This site should be a ask whatever, and answer whatever. No one monitors the WRONG and clearly UNSAFE advice that some people give, so why not let people ask and answer whatever they want?? Some people need a thicker skin!!!

ihate (but do understand) when people reply to a breeding post SPAY YOUR DOG!! DON"T BREED IT!. the poster didnt ask if they should spay their dog. total strangers are not going to change someones mind if they want to breed their dog. also people get on others not to buy from petstores b/c their are shelters and such.do they realise not everyone can adopt from shelters? my family has been turned down twice due to lack of size in our yard. and don't all dogs need a home? not just the shelter dogs? and they get mean about it. sometimes i give a thumbs down to a good reply b/c of the attitude it was written with.being ruse is not going to get people to listen to them. if anything it makes the poster more determined.

amen! People in general can be rude. There are just some kinds of people that do not understand common courtesy and manners. It makes me furious! And yet I don't resort to foul language and cut-downs. I guess some people just need an etiquette lesson.

I know what you mean they belittle everyone and make them feel like they are abusing their animals. Not everyone has thousands of dollars to spend on their animals and it does not mean they should not own one. If they do their best with their means to give that animal a great life then that to me is good enough. The fact they are asking a question and have observed something that means they care and are paying attention to their pet. Lets be nice and help them.

I agree, and sometimes it is children and adults that can't spell that they are the rudest to. At least they are in there trying. There is absolutely no excuse for rude, heartless people.
