Umpteen is a nonsense number, one that indicates that the level of tolerance has been reached, and surpassed. One does not use it in a positive manner, as in "This is the umpteenth time I've won the lottery!", but purely in the negative, as in "For the umpteenth time, stop calling me!"
The number originated in WW!, from Morse code, and it meant "of an indefinite number", made up of the words "umpty" and teen. I hope this helps.

Lets see a teenager is someone that is 12 to 19 so umpteenth time would be the high end of that so I'd say 19th time. I maybe over thinking this question. lol ♥
