I personally believe we are incomplete without the other. When we want to experience all that there is. Incomplete doesn't mean we can't function without the other. We just never get the full spectrum.

Idk y anybody agrees w/ all of the sayings such as "you complete me" and "my other half" bcuz they all imply that you cannot be a whole person w/out that other person, which could not be further from the truth. Some ppl live their whole lives and never link up w/ somebody of the opposite sex.
The ideas may have come from:
-the fact that Eve actually came from Adam
-the fact that when a man and woman are joined in marriage, they are a unit and therefore, seen as one
But it always takes TWO in order for a UNIT to work, so as long as ppl think that they will complete themselves in somebody else, their relationships will continue to fail. If they're your 'other half' that means not only that you are a half of a person, but that you are getting with another half of a person, and all that would result in is two ppl making a half of an attempt to have a successful relationship.

I also would say this is not true.
I lived alone for 4yrs, quite happily, i managed my house, i paid the bills, i did all the decorating & repairs. In this time i had a boyfriend, but i didnt need to live with him, much as i was fond of him, i never needed to rely emotionally on him.
Now that i am married, 'K' is my everything, but i still have some independance. My husband would like me to leave things to him & relax, but i cant.
So yes women can live without a man & be happy.

Your addendums are confusing. But to answer your original question "do women need men because they were born incomplete?"
It works both ways. That's why we're built anatomically different.

I believe most women love to have only one man in their lives that truly loves them. Someone who respects and loves them for who they are.A women only needs one good man in her life, the trick is to find a good man.
I also belive that the media has worped most peoples minds into looking for someone who is perfect, not a possable thing. You must find someone who works for your individual needs.
I am blessed to have been married 30 plus years to such a person, I wish every women could find the right man. I makes you free to be yourself.

Nothing to do with expenders.
Both man and woman are more complete when lucky enough to meet the right person.
The problem arises when we meet the wrong person at the wrong time and marry them for the wrong reason.
