Aw Wally, you're not any kind of cripple. Emotionally or other-
wise. And I'm sure the people you refer to are just being true
friends, in the kindest sense of the word.
I am finding out, that there are friends, and then there are
really 'true friends' in this world. The True Friends support,
befriend, and truly help in anyway they can, when one is down
and out spiritually, emotionally, or financially. We don't even
have to ask for help. They just sense and come to our aid.
It is truly a blessing, when people like that come and stay in
our lives. And if we can even have one friend, who is that way
toward us, that is one in a million these days. For so many
people are too wrapped up in their own lives, that they don't
often make room for another. So feel blessed, and feel loved!

Wally, anyone who says thank you to a whole room full of people does not sound like an emotional cripple to me. It sounds like a warm and caring person who appreciates what others have given of themselves.
We missed you and hope you got moved OK. --F.

You would never sound like an emotional cripple to those who care about you. You're a true gentleman and quite a man for wanting to tell others they're appreciated. We're all glad to have you back. Take care and stay with us, we need you. No one can take your place, there is only one you-Wally!---Luvs

Yes, you just did very well at thanking us.
And you could never be an emotional cripple....you just need to remember that we all love you for a very good reason--because you are YOU. Not an emotional cripple at all, but a very dear man who can alternately make us laugh, and cry and just be so very thankful that you are there!

There's nothing nicer than to have someone tell you how much you mean to them. Be specific ie: " running errands for me when I had a broken leg was so nice of you" or " I appreciate you so much and am glad you're my friend. I can always talk to you when I'm upset. Thanks for listening!" Both the teller and the listener are blessed!

And now you know how much you mean to us. I have seen a lot of people welcoming you back and there were just as many asking about you when you were gone. You were very missed and you are welcome. (sniff) dont go away again.
