The UN has a home page you can access. If it is a specific country, you will find their consulate information to which you can send the letter. If it is for the continent as a whole, you will have a little bit of trouble. My suggestion would be to look for the African Union (AU) information on the same site and contact them that way.
Hope that helps.

Each organ of the UN has representatives in charge of African affairs. Send a letter to the organ that has concerns about Africa the most so that appropriate action will be made.

There isnt a specific African affairs person, they fall into categories of issues, like development, poverty, conflict resolution, etc. Find out what the particular issue is and you can send them a letter based on what you are looking for from their website.

Send it straight to Africa if you want it to get there in time. The Post Office knows the address, so you can just write "United Nations, Africa." The person in charge is named Charles Taylor.
