It was probably a windows update to fix one of vista's glitches.

Go to the microsoft site and choose to download all critical updates it should launch it again for you.

Next time that happens read what is being updated and if it's from microsoft let it install. Microsoft pushes out updates on a regular basis to fix their programs. It's normal.

If it's an update to another program that you have on your computer let it update also. Most manufacturers send out updates to fix problems in their programs.

The only way you should be stopping it is if it's a program you don't have already loaded on your computer.

Hi. After you get the large font go to the Graphics manufacturer's website and download and install the latest drivers. If that does not fix it then press and - (minus). This will shrink the text.

First quit clicking cancel and allow it to install. May be a video driver update.

Try going to your desktop, then right click on your mouse, scroll down to proprieties, then press Appearance and see if you can change it from there. (Make it smaller) Good luck!....

Sounds like spyware or something. Do a spyware scan.
