Tayissa -- sounds strange and made-up; the "tay" and the "issa" don't really work together (Taya is cuter)
Tahlia -- very pretty; sounds like Dahlia (a flower); I prefer Dahlia since it's not made up, but Tahlia is one of the cutest made-up names I've heard.
Lana -- nice name, but not one of my favorites
Abbie -- very cute; would you name her Abigail and use this as a nickname?
Jemma -- it's okay; sounds a little too modern
Laila -- beautiful; it means "dark-haired beauty"; I like this best of all your girl names
Bryce -- very manly (makes me think of Bryce Canyon National Park -- a cool place to visit)
Harrison -- I like this best of all the boy names; it's uncommon but somewhat in line with current trends; it sounds strong and masculine
Taj -- I don't like it unless it has a special significance to you; if you are from a culture where "Taj" is a popular name or if you have a friend named "Taj" you want to honor, then I think it would be great to use. Otherwise, it is weird.

Tahlia and Jemma are really pretty names. I don't like the rest as much but they are okay.
I don't like two of those boys names. I never liked Harrison and hated it even more when I was teaching a 3 year old boy with that name who was a real horror! I don't think Taj should be a name at all - I recently met a cute toddler who was being called that by his grandma and it just didn't sound right. Bryce is okay but I prefer Rhys, which is similar.

Jemma is your best girl's name. I also like Abbie, but prefer it with a "y" instead of "ie". Bryce and Harrison are both great names. Taj makes me think of a girl... she's a student in my class at school. I like the name, just not for a boy.
Congrats to you. Best of luck with the names.

Hayden James- LOVE it! It flows so well and is definitely masculine :) my younger brother's middle name is James as well. Ford Michael- I like the Michael part, I'm still not sold on Ford though. I just imagine the automobile line of Ford, not a cute little boy. But it's not a bad name overall, it does sound nice together. Though I don't think I'd ever name my child Ford. Lane Avery- Honestly, this name sounds VERY feminine to me. Avery especially is girly and Lane is more unisex I guess. It would be confusing for anyone that didn't know what sex your child was-just by knowing their name. I would have said it was a girl's name. But that is just me. I do love Avery though (for a girl only). Brenna Mae- This is beautiful! I really like it :) It flows perfectly and Brenna would grow very well with your little lady! Good choice! Kayleigh Ann- I LOVE the spelling of Kayleigh! I prefer Lee spelled Leigh as well....it just makes it more unique and honestly it is more pleasing to the eye in my opinion. :) This name is incredibly cute and I like it a lot! Best of luck to you!!

Do you want them to be able to get a job when they are grown?
Really, the only ones that are typical, and thus will not prevent them from getting a job, are Lana and Harrison.
Research has indicated that the more "y's" you put in their name, the less education they will attain and thus, the less money they will make throughout their lives.
Names matter and they especially matter when you are looking for a job. I'm not saying that people who are hiring are inherently racist but research has proven that people prefer to call people for interviews if they have a Non-ethnic, typical, and typically spelled name.
Best of luck!
Peace,
Jenn
