Either. I don't believe that the rich are truly more happy than the lesser well-heeled. As long as I have enough to cover my basic needs, and a little extra left over for some occassional splurge, I am happy. But then, I am a person who enjoys books a great deal - so, I am pretty self-entertaining.

PS. My brother recently won 3 million dollars in the lottery. He and his wife haven't changed their lifestyle at all - they just have an added sense of security that they will do okay during retirement. Also, I have had a couple of extremely wealthy friends, and their families were both extremely dysfunctional, with a lot of alcoholism.
