Right now, I think it does. Life has a way of bringing my mom down and it always finds me to do that to her. I really really hate myself right now. Why can't I stop? My mom doesn't deserve a daughter like me. I'm definitely not good enough. She's probably the best mom i could ever ask for and I'm always screwing up with her.

What are you doing that's bringing your mother down? I'd really hesitate before taking responsability for your mother's feelings. Most likely you're a normal daughter and your mother's making you feel guilty for it. Raising children is stressful. Kids don't always do what their mother tells them to. And it is hard for your mother to let you be you and take your own chances and make your own mistakes and do your own thing. But you must do these things if you are to grow and become your own person and find meaning and fulfillment in life. As long as you're not doing things to deliberately hurt her, you can't go through life trying to hold her like an egg so she doesn't break. This is not because it's right or wrong to do this, it's because it never works.
As people always say, you can't make someone else happy, only yourself.
