LOST IN SPACE (1998)
This remake has a ton of alien mechanical spiders that turn Dr. Smith into a really big icky spider alien.
You don't want to see this version if you have a thing with spiders.

"Arachnophobia". It came out in 1990, so you can probably find it on DVD or VHS. It was fairly popular. The spiders, hundreds of them, were real. There was some humor with John Goodman, Rosanne's TV husband, as an exterminator.

...one of the very creepy, yet very obscure spider films from the good ol' drive-in theater days, would be the extremely unsettling chiller, from 1976, and entitled "Kiss of the Tarantula". Imagine the plotline of "Carrie", but substituting spiders for telekinetic powers...
