There is medications to help prevent brittle bones but they are not without side effects. A good diet, Of course great vitamins and strength training your muscles to handle the load not your bones will help some. So folks have brittle bones by family background. But you can help that a bit by doing these things.

MILK!!! drink a ton of milk before you turn 18 because then after it's too late to make your bones denser. from then on they will grow smaller and smaller and it won't be as easy to build them back up!

your body decides how dense your bones will be but weightlifting that help with that
